Regalis is a series of photographic artworks presenting figures in handmade original costume. Each one constructed from vintage Japanese obi fabric, metallic leaf, and found materials. Placing them in a world that exists somewhere between Sci-Fi, Anime, and the classical Japanese textile tradition. A distillation of influences from childhood to the present day, every element conceived, constructed, and realised entirely by hand.
